„Auf Ballhöhe“ 2013 – First project trip to Namibia

From May 10th to 18th „Auf Ballhöhe“ is going to Namibia. In Keetmanshoop, the capital of the region Karas, we aim to realize our first project in Namibia. The city is located about 500 kilometers south of the capital Windhoek.

The four-man delegation of “Auf Ballhöhe” traveling to Keetmanshoop consists of coaches and referee instructors. It will organize a football training session in cooperation with the Namibian Football Association (NFA) for about 200 young children and men. In addition, it will offer a referee training course for the approximately 20 referees participating in the event.

During the week, the course for referees will take place before noon, while the training sessions for children are offered in the afternoon. To round of the week, a tournament will be organized for the participants of the training. The delegation of the Namibian project trip consists of Johannes, Folker Liebe, Martin Bremer and Matthias Eiles.

The trip is supported by the Namibian Tourism Board (NTB), South African Airways and our local cooperation partners on the ground. We thank everyone for their help.
